Not sure if i was just tired but I tried it again 10 minutes later and I was able to RDP with the admin account and undid my changes. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\StandardProfile > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\PublicProfile >ĭouble click on enablefirewall and set it to 0 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\SharedAccess\Parameters\FirewallPolicy\DomainProfile > double click on enablefirewall and set it to 0 HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server > double clicked on Select Connect Network Registry > typed in the server name > changed the registry keys listed below to enable rdp and disabled the firewall on the server I am trying to connect to. I added the user group by accident to that group. I just want them to authenticate for share access. I created a group and placed users in it.
